CM Visited temples of Panna

Prannath Ji Temple

  • Mahamati Prannathji temple is an important pilgrimage of Pranamis and attracts number of devotees during Sharada Purnima.
  • It is believed that Mahamati Prannathji lived at the site for 11 years after which he took samadhi inside one of the domes of this temple.
  • The temple was built in 1692 and has Muslim and Hindu architectural styles in its domes and lotus formations. The temple is divided into six parts namely Shri Gummatji, Shri Bangalaji, Shri Sadguru Mandir, Shri Baijurajji Mandir, Shri Chopada Mandir and Shri Khijada Mandir.

Jagdish Swami Temple

  • One of the oldest temples of Panna city. There are 26 small temples around the temple.
  • In Samvat 1874, the deity was consecrated. The idols here are made of kashta wood.
  • The idols of Lord Jagannath, Subhadra and Balarama are installed in the Swami temple. Jagdish Swami Rath Yatra of Panna is considered to be the second largest Rath Yatra of the country after Puri.

Bhagwan Baldev Ji Temple

  • Baldev Temple of Panna Nagar is one of the special temples of the country.
  • Thousands of travelers come every year from far and wide to see it.
  • Maharaja Rudra Pratap was the tenth king of Panna state.
  • He had a special interest in architecture.
  • The construction work of this temple started from Samvat 1933 and was completed in Samvat 1936. The temple is a unique amalgamation of the architecture of the East and the West.

Shri Ramjanaki Temple

  • Shri Ramjanaki Temple is one of the main temples of Panna city.

  • India’s first Centre of Excellence in Logistics is going to come up at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya

  • There is a provision to give an amount of Rs 2 lakh in case of normal death.
  • Under the scheme, there is a provision of providing assistance of Rs. 5 thousand for performing last rites.

Mukhyamantri Kisan-Kalyan Yojana

  • Mukhyamantri Kisan-kalyan Yojana amount of the scheme will be transferred to the accounts of farmers
  • Amount of Kisan Samman Nidhi in the accounts of farmers of 44 districts of the state under Mukhyamantri Kisan-Kalyan Yojana.
  • Under the scheme, Rs 1540 crore will be transferred to the accounts of 77 lakh farmers with a single click.
  • This amount being given by the state government is for the financial year 2021-22.
  • MP government has released ‘Mukhya Mantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana’ under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi to provide benefits to farmers of the state.
  • Under this scheme, a total amount of Rs. 4 thousand will be paid to the farmers in two equal installments in the financial year.
