- MP ranks first among the states to get the accreditation certificate from the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) for water testing laboratories.
- State and districtlevel51 laboratories of Public Health Engineering Department have been granted recognition certificates by the Accreditation Board (NABL).
